Methods

For our research, we frequently employ the following techniques:

  • in vitro cell culture experiments with lymphatic endothelial cells and leukocytes
  • Fluorescence-Activated Cell Sorting for cell analysis and isolation (ETH Flow Cytometry Core Facility)
  • in vivo experiments in mice (models of inflammation and of leukocyte trafficking)
  • immunofluorescence / immunohistochemistry
  • standard biochemical and molecular biology techniques, such as
qRT-PCR, siRNA technology, gene overexpression, Western blot, ELISA
  • transcriptomics analysis, in collaboration with the external page FGCZ
  • confocal and multiphoton intravital microscopy, in collaboration with the ETH SCOPEM
